The bio controlled neurostimulator SCENAR, also known as an Self- Controlled-Energy-Neuro-Adaptive-Regulator, is a physiotherapy device, working on the skin with an impulse, similar to the impulses, conducted by the human nervous system. The neurostimulator works on the principle of the biological feedback – by touching the skin, the device sensor connects to the electromagnetic impulses of the human body. Then, it transmits an impulse through the skin and displays the values received, by issuing a short double signal. That information is related to the current body condition, and guides the Scenar therapist throughout the treatment. The characteristics of the impulse are constantly changing depending on the skin reaction. From this point, the human brain perceives those impulses as an alarm signal from its own nervous system. It activates some internal glands in the human body to release neuropeptides and endorphins as a rapid respond to neutralize the pain, which minimize significantly the need of painkillers or NSAID's.
